CLIENT ASK: Elevate Air Max Day

AGENCY: Limitless Creative Co.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITY: Ideation, Producer

For the 2018 Air Max Day campaign we were tasked to bring energy around the launch of the Sean Wortherspoon AM 97/1.The shoe was receiving an elevated debut at Saint Alfred, an OG boutique in the Wicker Park neighborhood. 

Funny part about this project was that prior to moving to Chicago I was asked by my former agency to run this campaign in Los Angeles during the early release.

Back to the story--myself along with two co-workers (Dubb & Re) came up with creative concepts and leveraged my fraternal connection to get some designs knocked out. Some of these concepts made it to production and go for crazy amounts on Ebay today. Others did not, so you’re seeing those here first. As with any project there’s always challenges - with a delay in delivery of the patches,  I didn’t have the manpower to individually package pins and patches that were to be distributed to boutiques across the country. Luckily my cousin was game and pulled an all-night packing party with his friends. I paid him in a pair of 2019’s winning Air Max model and a nice check. Thanks LaMarr.

FRIDGE MAGNET CONCEPT

Taking it back to the 90s where fridge magnets were the best form of marketing. From pizza to plumbers, whatever info you needed could be found on your fridge at home. This was a free takeaway for consumers who came to Saint Alfred.

PLINKO GAME CONCEPT

As we toyed with the idea of how to make the raffle more than just a random draw, the Price is Right came to mind. We came up with an Air-inspired Plinko board along with smiley face Plinko chips. Certain numbers would guarantee a chance to purchase the coveted sneaker.
